Plate Tuning |
PLATE TUNING is one of the most distinguished features of Wave Violins. Dr Yin and Dr Tao have focused in this area for many years and developed their own tuning system to adjust the frequency of a free plate and the resonance of a complete body. Our statistical data shows, and overwhelming customer feedback supports, the tone quality of plate tuned instruments is significantly better. More and more of the world's professional players and advanced students are using instruments from Wave Violins. |

Craftsmanship |
Our craftsman follow the traditional theories and methods perfected by Italian master makers during the 17th and 18th centuries. " The Secret of Stradivaris" is one of our guide books. |

Our Wood |
The finest instruments always begin with the finest materials. All of the tone wood for Wave Violins' instruments is purchased after careful and experienced selection from suppliers. Each piece is labeled with the corresponding Identification Number, Year, Quality Level, and Place of Origin, then placed in our storage area to slowly dry and naturally age. |
Varnish |
All instruments in Wave Violins are hand varnished with natural ingredients, just like the most famous Italian master violin makers did centuries ago. This processing makes the instruments sound wonderful and look beautiful. |
Facility |
Wave Violins' workshop facilities are set up according to world class standards. The tools were imported from Germany, Switzerland, USA and Japan. High quality tools not only enable our craftsman to produce the instruments more precisely and in perfect detail, but also relieves the maker's stress so they can enjoy the violin crafting process and work by inspiration. |
